Upset, Judge Threatens Plasters Mouth Defendant

OHIO - A judge in Ohio has threatened to plaster the mouth of a defendant for having caused a commotion in court. An attorney reported this, as reported by the Associated Press on Thursday (01/13/2011).
Duniek man named Christian (26) have to deal with Judge Judge Elizabeth Kobly in court on charges of violation of traffic and disrupt the work of officers.
"Christian babbling and screaming in front of the judge in the trial because he was annoyed to wait for the judge entered the courtroom," said the former lawyer David Gerchak.
After that, Gerchak said the judge had repeatedly tried to calm his client. Out of patience, the judge then asked a number of officers brought her a plaster.
Judge Kobly not want to comment on this. While Gerchak decided to resign as attorney Christian. Still not clear who would replace him.
Gerchak said he did not know whether Judge Kobly serious or not with the threat. However, it is clear the threat was addressed to former clients.
Referring to the report police officer, Christian was sentenced to 230 days in jail because it was in contempt of court. Christian in contempt when he should be removed forcibly from the courtroom by police officers at the request of the judge.
