COLOGNE - Damn this very fate of the two thieves, when they tried to break into an office, they are trapped in an elevator.
The two thieves were eventually tried to contact the German police because they did not get away from the elevator because of traffic jams.
"This sounds very stupid," said one thief to Cologne police emergency telephone in the elevator, "It seems we are trapped when the elevator broke into the office on this."
When police arrived they found the two thieves are trapped in an elevator in an office building.
"A thief tried to break through into the building and apparently wanted to go upstairs and eventually they are trapped in the elevator," police said as reported by Reuters on Friday (14/01/2011).
Both decided to contact police after one of them injured for trying to dismantle the elevator doors.
Firefighters were finally lowered to help them. Both these pesky thieves eventually herded into police headquarters
