Residents in the Black Sea city of providing information to authorities on Saturday that they found dozens of dead birds. Actions that are feared to outbreaks of bird flu, which has struck in the year 2004-2006.

"Tests conducted on five birds showed that birds will only eat the grapes used that has caused the death of the bird," said veterinarian Romeu Lazar as reported by Reuters on Thursday (13/01/2011).

Presumably these wines are fermented and contain alcohol, so that the birds are to be drunk and unable to with the alcohol content.
