WASHINGTON - MICOM: U.S. space agency (Nasa) has prepared a replacement if ever astronaut who is the husband of U.S. House of Representatives Gabrielle Giffords who were injured in the shooting last weekend could not leave his wife.

Captain Mark Kelly, Giffords husband is scheduled to lead the last flight in the shuttle program of NASA. Space shuttle Endeavour is scheduled to head to the International Space Station (ISS) on 19 April.
Kelly was elected to lead the airline in 2009 and spent 17 months training. "Chosen to lead the aircraft flight-worthy last birthday is a great honor," said NASA spokesman Michael Curie.
If Kelly can not do its job because it must care for his wife who was recovering from gunshot wounds to the head, NASA has prepared a veteran space shuttle commander Rick ship Strckow to lead the flight.
NASA says Kelly also has filed a request for NASA to prepare a replacement. "NASA should immediately take the steps necessary to complete this mission if I were absent. However, I hope I can finish the mission with my crew," Curie said, citing demand
