Gabrielle Giffords, was able to open his eyes.

Tucson - President of the United States (U.S.), Barack Obama is preaching woman congressman from Arizona who was shot, Gabrielle Giffords, was able to open his eyes. Giffords became victims of a brutal shooting in a public ceremony attended by their constituents.



This positive reaction is the first time since he was in critical condition due to the shooting.because Gabrielle Giffords, was able to open his eyes.

Obama confirmed he had recently visited the University Health Centre Giffords in Arizona. Moments after she left the room Giffords, this woman opened her eyes for the first time.

This is witnessed by a number of other congressmen who are still in the room, after Obama came out.

"Gabby opened her eyes. So I'm sure he knew we were here. He knows we love him. And he knows we are very sorry for what has happened,"said Obama as reported by AFP on Thursday (13/01/2011)
