JOHANNESBURG No pants fined

JOHANNESBURG - Dozens of peoplewho try to to follow the celebration of " Nopants Subway Ride "( PassengerTrain Uninstall Trousers )in South Africa even fined .



Approximately 34 people were arrested after they took off their pants and wearing only panties in the train station in Rhodesfield Gautrain, the eastern city of Johannesburg.

"They were fined 700 Rands or approximately Rp923 thousand,"he said Gautrain spokesperson Kelebogile Machaka, as reported by AFP on Wednesday (01/12/2011).

The passengers were handcuffed and be briefed by the police at the station office.

"The people all laughed at us. They wanted to charge us with indecent acts, but eventually they realize that nothing is obscene," said one participant Granicki Cuba.

Trends by not wearing pants on the train seems to have become very popular and much imitated in most other parts of the world, since it was first performed in New York in 2002
