Japanese Foreign Minister to visit South Korea Postponed
Visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan Seiji Maehara to South Korea scheduled for this week delayed a day because of domestic problems in Tokyo, according to South Korean Foreign Ministry on Thursday (13 / 1).

Maehara visits were aimed at improving diplomatic and military relations between the two countries in dealing with emerging threats from North Korea in the context of regional security. The South Korean defense leaders and Japan meet in Seoul this week and agreed to increase military cooperation and to encourage the implementation of a number of bilateral discussions to support their military agreement.
